The Danish Crown Prince couple visits Brazil!

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are visiting Brazil from the 16th to 21st September. Their journey will begin in São Paulo, where they will open an exhibition with the art of the Danish Cobra painter Asger Jorn. The day after, the Crown Prince will among other things meet with the governor of São Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin, and they will together open a seminar about water. On the evening of the 18th of September the Crown Prince couple will continue their trip to Rio de Janeiro where they will attend a reception for the Danish offshore industry. During the three days in Rio, Crown Prince Frederik will meet with the mayor of Rio de Janeiro and visit Pentrobas with a Danish industry delegation. In the meanwhile Crown Princess Mary will visit Pontifical Catholic University, which is working together with many Danish universities and the famous favela Cidade de Deus. The trip will end in Minas Gerais where the Crown Prince couple will participate in a dinner with governor of Minas Gerais, Antonio Anastacia. The last day in Brazil will be about the Danish zoologist P.W. Lund (1801-1880), which will be honored with a memorial, a museum and a seminar at PUC University.
